Our ceramic HANAKO cappuccino mug has been through quite a journey! First, it was fired at 950 degrees, then glazed and fired again at a blazing 1250 °C to become completely waterproof. And the best part? It's also dishwasher safe.
Each mug is lovingly handmade and fired twice in Antwerp, Belgium, making every piece truly one-of-a-kind. Get ready to sip your coffee in style!

This item is made of porcelain which has been hand painted with porcelain paint. After the painting process is finished, the mug is baked in the oven, which fixes the paint to the surface.

We use cardboard shipping boxes and avoid plastic in our packaging as much as possible. Our white packaging peanuts are made of biodegradable cornstarch so you're able to put them in a glass of water and they will dissolve immediately.
We also reuse packaging that's been send to us, and want to encourage you to do the same ♡

Care guide
After the painting process is finished, the mug is baked in the oven, which fixes the paint to the surface. This makes it dishwasher safe up to 50° Celsius.
However, hand-painted tableware stays beautiful the longest if you wash it by hand. So if you're in a hurry you can opt for the dishwasher, but if you wanna take care of it in the best way possible, quickly wash it by hand to ensure the longevity of the piece.
